Ski slopes in Szczyrk - The perfect place for skiing enthusiasts

When planning your winter holiday at the Start Skrzyczne Hotel, skiers and snowboarders have some of the best ski runs in Poland at their disposal. Thanks to the cooperation of two renowned ski resorts - the Szczyrk Mountain Resort and the Central Sports Centre (COS) – you can enjoy as many as 40 km of well-prepared ski runs of varying degrees of difficulty, available on a single pass. This is a paradise for winter sports enthusiasts, who can choose the perfect slopes for their skill level.

Diverse slopes for everyone

The easier slopes are marked in blue, making them ideal for beginners and those who prefer a quieter ride. Examples include the 1350-metre-long Spruce Route, leading from Małe Skrzyczne to the Skrzyczeńska Pasture (Hala Skrzyczeńska), or the Szczyrkowska II Route, offering a long, gentle ride of 2810 metres.

Routes of medium difficulty, marked in red, are perfect for skiers who already have experience on the slopes and are looking for greater challenges. One example is the 1687-metre-long Sports Trail, starting at the Skrzyczeńska Pasture and ending at Czyrno. Another route of medium difficulty is the Malinowa, which is 1,820 metres long and runs from the Skrzyczeńska Pasture to Solisko.

The most advanced skiers will also find something for themselves here - the Bieńkula piste is a real challenge, marked in black and offering 1535 metres of intense skiing from the Skrzyczeńska Pasture to Czyrna. It is one of the most difficult slopes of the region, ideal for those seeking adrenaline and challenging terrain.

Modern infrastructure for comfortable skiing

All slopes are equipped with a modern snowmaking system, which guarantees great skiing conditions, even in the season with less favourable weather conditions. The pistes are regularly groomed so that they are always well-prepared for skiing. In addition, some of them are illuminated, allowing you to enjoy skiing even after dark. This is a great option for those who want to make the most of every day on the slopes.

Convenient access to the slopes

Thanks to modern transport infrastructure, access to the slopes is extremely convenient. There are chairlifts between the lower and upper stations, including six 6-person chairlifts, a 10-person gondola, and T-bar lifts, ensuring fast and comfortable movement between the slopes. This means that even in peak season, waiting times on the lifts are minimal, allowing you to make the most of your day's skiing.
